WAT IS HET VERSCHIL TUSSEN OPPA VERSUS TRADITIONELE COMMERCIËLE PRINTERS?
In het verleden maakte een lab een print van een negatief zonder enig overleg - in de veronderstelling dat een standaard negatief een standaard druk zou produceren. Veel giclee printers en service bureaus blijven in deze traditie een perfect bestand eisen om een basis afdruk te maken. Dit proces kan frustrerend zijn, vooral als je met een mislukte afdruk wegloopt en niet weet waar dit aan ligt of wat eraan gedaan kan worden. Bij OPPA bespreken en adviseren we - met als resultaat de beste print mogelijk voor het bestand.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OPPA VERSUS TRADITIONAL COMMERCIAL PRINTERS?
In the past with commercial photographic printing, a lab would make a print from a negative without consultation — assuming that a standard negative will produce a standard print. Many giclee printers and service bureaus continue in this tradition and demand a perfect file to make a basic print. This process can be unsatisfactory and frustrating as you can easily walk away with a failed print and not know why or what can be done about it. At OPPA, instead of just giving you a print, we proof, we discuss and advise — so we can work with you to get the print you want.
HOE GROOT MOET IK MIJN BESTAND LEVEREN?
Bestanden moeten minimaal 240 dpi bij het afdrukformaat zijn, maar we kunnen bestanden aanpassen om de maximale resolutie en grootte uit je bestanden te krijgen. Zie onze voorbereiden bestanden info pagina.
WHAT SIZE FILE SIZE SHOULD I SUPPLY?
Files should be minimum 240 dpi at the print size, however we can resize files to get the maximum resolution and size out of your files. See our "voorbereiden bestanden" page for more info.
WELKE BESTANDSFORMATEN ACCEPTEREN JULLIE?
De meeste formaten worden echter geaccepteerd is het gebruikelijk om Jpegs of Tiffs leveren in de RGB-modus.
WHAT FILE FORMATS DO YOU ACCEPT?
Most formats are accepted however it is usual to supply Jpegs or Tiffs in RGB mode.
WAT IS DE GROOTSTE PRINTMAAT?
Dit is afhankelijk van de media, maar grootte variëren van 110 cm tot 160 cm breed en meer dan 4 meter lang.
WHAT IS THE LARGEST PRINT SIZE?
Depending on the media but sizes range from 110cm to 160 cm wide and over 4 meters in length.
WELKE SOORTEN PAPIER/MEDIA GEBRUIKT OPPA?
Bijna alle soorten papier zijn afdrukbaar maar er is een scala aan papiersoorten speciaal gemaakt voor inkjetprinters, waarmee kleurweergave het meest nauwkeurig is. Er zijn veel verschillende soorten, wij gebruiken van een aantal gladde en getextureerde matte soorten papier, alswel als klassiek fotopapier en fine art canvas. We drukken ook af op andere materialen zoals PhotoTex zelfklevend materiaal & Polyester Clear Film. We hebben stalen van al deze papieren in onze studio afgedrukt. WHAT TYPES OF PAPER CAN YOU PRINT ON?
Almost all types of paper are printable but there is a range of papers specially made for inkjet printers where colour reproduction is most accurate. There are many of these, we use a number of smooth and textured matte papers, classic photo papers, and fine art canvas. We also print on other materials such as PhotoTex adhesive material & Polyester Clear Film. We have printed samples of all these papers in our studio. For more information on these papers contact us.
